Analysis of Thermal Conductivity of LANDY Aluminum Foil Bubble Insulation Material and ASTM Certification

I. Application of Thermal Conductivity in Buildings

Thermal conductivity has a wide range of applications in daily life and industrial fields. In the construction industry, to keep houses warm in winter and cool in summer, people will choose insulation materials with low thermal conductivity, such as foam boards, rock wool, aluminum foil bubble insulation materials, etc. These materials are filled with tiny bubbles or pores, and the air inside has a very low thermal conductivity. It's like putting a thick "cotton-padded jacket" on the house, preventing the entry and exit of heat, thereby reducing the energy consumption of air conditioners and heaters.

II. Comparison of Thermal Conductivities of Some Common Building Insulation Materials

III. Advantages of Landy Bubble Insulation Materials

Compared with traditional insulation materials, bubble insulation materials have obvious advantages in terms of thermal conductivity and thermal resistance. After being tested by the authoritative American ASTM-C518-21 standard, the thermal conductivity of LANDY single-layer PE bubble insulation material with aluminum foil (pure aluminum) is as low as 0.036, and that of the single-layer bubble insulation material with aluminum film (MPET) is as low as 0.028.

In addition, the bubble insulation material is light in weight, generally about 230 grams per square meter for single-layer bubbles, and about 340 grams for double-layer bubbles. It is soft in texture, can be bent and folded, and is convenient for construction and installation. It can adapt to various objects of different shapes and surfaces, and combines closely with the main body without the need to leave boundary joints and breather pipes.

LANDY bubble insulation material, with ultra-low thermal conductivity and excellent insulation performance, stops the heat transfer here.
